Change can be good...

Tomorrow marks my last day with WIAAA.  Although I have enjoyed my time here, it is time to move on to what God is calling me to do.  Next Monday I will be traveling to LA for Americorps Vista training and will start working at FOCC on April 11th!  I am so excited that our nonprofit has this amazing opportunity.  I will be able to gain monetary supporters, get the center up and running, plan fundraisers, and build a volunteer base that will hopefully keep FOCC going for years to come.  I will also be working closer to home, traveling less, and have more flexibility, which will make life easier after the baby comes.  Normally I am completely terrified of change, but the older I get the more I realize that change must occur in order for extraordinary things to take place.  God has thoroughly blessed my life over the past few years and I am genuinely giving control over to Him.  I pray that He guides me to make positive changes for Henderson County through this nonprofit.
